I traveled across Africa in an old 7 ton 4x4 truck, converted to a camper. A 5 years journey - and often enough I did not know what's going on tomorrow. Crossing a border, meeting people different to those I met yesterday on the market, ....

It was coincident that I chose the African continent. Finally I struggled there, living now in Namibia,  running my business - and sometimes I dream about the old days, when I entered Mauritania without any information, printed or - at this time unbelievable - electronical. Ok, I managed, but it could have been much easer.

That's why this website is here :-)
